Lot 1475 Ben Paschal
Outfielder (1895–1974) who played for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, and New York Yankees, whom he helped to World Series victories in 1927 and 1928. On April 12, 1927, in the first game of the season, Paschal was the last player ever to pinch hit for Babe Ruth. Ballpoint signature and inscription, “Good luck and best wishes to you and yours, Ben E. Paschal,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card. In fine condition.
